There is something so encouraging about reaching 30 weeks. I don't quite know why, because most people have 10 weeks to go. Perhaps just seeing that 3 in front makes me feel like I'm in the homestretch.
The reality that I will soon have a babe in arms and a toddler is sinking in. Especially since I'm discovering how much Tony likes when I sit down and play with him. (I am not naturally one of those moms... I believe in children entertaining themselves for the most part. Tony helps me cook and sits by while I fold laundry, but I'm not a good "player".)
Stacking Duplos is a new favorite thing. Along with tearing down whatever cool things I build, haha.
Please say a prayer that I can potty train him. I put him in underwear this afternoon and we haven't had any accidents so far. This doesn't feel like the best week to try, but I did manage to prep most of my dinners for the week on Saturday, so maybe it will work out.
Love,
Jess

You know you have my prayers. Funny, I remember potty training you. You were just over 2 years and trained in a day. What a blessing that was!
ReplyDeleteYour belly looks so precious! We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of this new little person!!
You are a good mama. Whether you are good at playing or not, lol. Letting children assist you is such a memory maker and you are very good at that. :)
