She weighs over 9 pounds now, and smiles a lot!
She made her first trip to a thrift store, snuggled fairly happily in the ErgoBaby while Tony rode in the stroller. It was my first trip out alone with the two of them, and I think it was a success. Next on my list of sewing projects is a ring sling - the ErgoBaby works, but it takes a lot of maneuvering to nurse easily (and would probably be frowned upon by the makers of the carrier). If you're out solo and not in a place where you can sit down and nurse while occupying the toddler, you're in trouble. Rixa of Stand and Deliver has an easy looking pleated ring sling tutorial on her blog. It doesn't take that much fabric, and if you order the rings she links to, they're only $4. I hope to get to that this week so that I can try it out over the weekend!
When I showed Dad this post, he commented about how big she looks, lol. How time is flying by! I can't wait to see her and kiss those sweet cheeks.
