Today is an extra-special day for me for two reasons:
It is my first Mother's Day holding my sweet baby
&
My precious little boy is 10 months old!
Where has the time gone? I gestated less time than I've held him on the outside! He's sporting one and a half teeth these days, and pulled himself up to standing for the first time last night!
Yesterday Tony and I drove up to New York so that we could be with Zach today, too. Too many times I felt like a single mom because Zach had to work during an event, so I went alone. I was not going to feel that way on Mother's Day. Tony was a trooper in the car. We certainly had our moments, but overall, it was good. The move still feels rather surreal since we're in a hotel because the house hasn't closed yet. Please say a prayer that it will be done by Friday.
This afternoon we drove down to Taughannock Falls, which was amazing. Afterwards we bought lunch at the GreenStar Co-op market and picnicked at Cass Park. It was glorious. (Who would think that canned tuna, yogurt, and LARABARs would be better than a fancy lunch out?)
All of my mommy family and friends were in my prayers in a special way today. Thank you all for being a source of support and inspiration to me! I hope you all had as lovely a day as I did!
Love,
Jess
PS: The best LARABARs are Coconut Cream and Carrot Cake! I think I could eat those forever.

Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful in the picture by the falls. I love your hair on you the length it's at now.
I had a cherry something LARABAR in California. It was amazing. It was my first time to taste a LARABAR.
I almost mailed your package to your parents' this week. Good thing I didn't. I hold onto it a bit longer.
If you have time sometime this week, I'd love a call..I want to discuss mastitis. I'm curious how long it took you to be symptom-free.
Happy Mother's Day to you! I'm glad y'all got to spend the day together. :)
ReplyDeleteAww...... those pictures are so sweet!
